CYNTHIA WOLF, MEd, LCPC, RPT, NCC, LPC Cynthia is a Registered Play Therapist since 1999. She specializes in ages 3 to 9 and works closely with parents providing support and guidance in helping their child during each session. Cynthia counsels children dealing with all issues that are presented in the developmental area of young children, including, but not limited to: anxiety, depression, aggressive behavior, social skills, school and peer issues, sleep and eating issues, fears, defiance, mood changes, sibling issues, parenting support and coaching. She believes that each child and parent(s) are unique and individualizes each session. She had the rare and unique opportunity to be educated and trained by leaders in the field of Play Therapy at the University of North Texas. In addition to providing counseling to young children and their parents (or guardians), she supervises other counselors and Play Therapists. Being a Play Therapist is not a job for Cynthia, but a passion Specializing exclusively with children between the ages of 3 and 9 (utilizing Play Therapy) gives her the wonderful opportunity to put all her focus on that age group and specialty. She places all her attention, research, training, education and focus on what is current in the field of Play Therapy. Cynthia loves what she does, helping children and parents. MELISSA MCMANAMY, MS, ACC, LPC Melissa is both a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Credentialed Life and Career Coach through the International Coaching Federation. Her unique background in Management Consulting and Organizational Behavior has equipped her with the skills and experience needed to serve as your accountability partner. Utilizing a person centered, solution focused approach, she strives to help you understand your strengths, values, and priorities. She works with adults – tweens (11 and up) and utilizes and applies a variety of therapeutic techniques including (but not limited to), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (including Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Radical Dialectical Behavior Therapy), Motivational Interviewing, Emotion Focused Family Based Therapy, Exposure Response Prevention and Psychoeducation. Whether embarking on a new career or seeking increased interpersonal effectiveness (work/life/parenting/friends), transitioning in or out of a relationship, managing anxiety and/or depression, experiencing being the caretaker of a sick loved one for the first time, working on building healthier thoughts, actions and emotional regulation, practicing self- compassion, or simply setting a new goal or life vision – she welcomes the opportunity to be a part of your or your loved one’s journey. KATELYN HERSCH, LPC-T ​ Katelyn is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Katelyn has a background in Musical Theater and performing arts, achieving her BFA from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in Los Angeles, California. She believes in a collaborative approach to counseling to help individuals identify their core values and align them to their life goals. Katelyn approaches counseling through a person centered and somatic approach, working with the entire mind, body and spirit to achieve overall wellness. She is trained in EMDR (eye movement, desensitization and reprocessing) therapy, and utilizes Somatic Experiencing techniques to establish a 'bottom up' approach to therapy. She works with teenagers, adults, first responders, and artists, struggling with anxiety, trauma, depression as well as body and self-esteem issues. Katelyn welcomes clients of all gender identities, ethnicities, sexual orientations and belief systems. She is thrilled to be apart of the collaborative team at Thalia Center!
